I bring a well-rounded combination of classroom, leadership, and community experience that uniquely prepares me to serve on the Wichita Board of Education.
I previously worked as a paraeducator in USD 259, which gave me firsthand experience inside the classroom—understanding the real needs of students and the daily challenges our educators face.
Today, I serve as a Board of Education member for District 6, where I’ve built a track record of being present, responsive, and focused on outcomes. I was selected to serve on the Council of the Great City Schools Board, working with urban school leaders from across the country on shared challenges and solutions.
In addition, I bring skills in community engagement, creative problem-solving, and public communication through years of leadership in civic organizations, including as President of the Wichita Warriors Society Women’s Auxiliary. I’ve also successfully managed budgets and public-facing projects as an international clothing designer,
