I spent 20 years working as a staff member in higher education and have seen first-hand what good funding and poor funding does for academic success. As an accountant at that institution, I have the skills to analyze budgets and produce meaningful reports. Boring? Absolutely. Necessary? State government needs accountability to the taxpayers now, more than ever. I have the skills to be a good listener, be accessible, and take the concerns of my district to Topeka with honesty and integrity. I'm applying for the job, because that's what I know, not running a typical political campaign. It's a two year commitment. If you don't like me, you can simply vote me out in 2028! :)

Education funding for ALL Kansas students. The money is there, it's up to a new House to protect our tax dollars and hold those accountable to those who pay the majority of taxes. Healthcare. Our current representative touts "Access to Healthcare" while the cost of that access keeps many away from lifesaving care. I will fight to expand Medicaid coverage and make for-profit insurance companies illegal in Kansas. It's time shareholder dividends and executive salaries die so people can live. Affordable housing and property tax reform. It starts with ending corporate welfare of tax abatements and leads right to demanding transparency and accountability from our county assessors.

Making my office accessible to my constituents is my number one priority. The amount of HB numbers is mind-boggling and I will make sure there is factual information on each piece of legislation that comes before the House. Whether through a website, newsletter or social media, I will keep you informed. Our current representative, Barbara Wasinger, was the chief mouthpiece of the "Go" process for H Sub for SB 244, also known as "The Bathroom Bill" which strips civil rights away from transgender Kansans. Those Kansans, as well as other citizens who came to speak out against this legislation were denied their right to speak. Wasinger is the reason I am running for office. I will fight the "Gut and Go" process because it's immoral.

We must end electronic voting machines because of corruption. Paper ballots with optical scanners are the only trusted system in place currently and I refuse to vote on a machine. Increase voter turnout by providing MORE access through advance and mail-in ballots. Those who don't want the taxpayer voting are to blame for the erosion in voting access. I will make my constituents' voices heard on this issue.
