What makes you the best candidate for this position? What skills, expertise, or competencies qualify you?

My entire professional career has been in market research, where I specialized in digging beneath surface-level information to challenge assumptions and uncover actionable facts. I regularly helped clients question long-held beliefs that were limiting their success – even when those assumptions were deeply cherished. As a state representative, I will bring that same independent, fact-driven approach to public service. Whether an assumption is held by Republicans or Democrats, I will follow the evidence wherever it leads rather than chasing money, popularity, or party lines. My commitment is simple: I follow the facts, not the crowd.

What are Kansas's three most important issues, and how do you intend to address them?

1. Property Taxes. Cap property tax revenue growth. I will pursue this from two directions: first, a strict top-down cap on total revenue with minimal exemptions to prevent it from becoming legislative Swiss cheese; and second, moving county, city, and school board elections to even years. 2. Data Centers. Pause new projects long enough for the state to develop comprehensive guidelines. 3. Education Funding. I will support targeted increases aimed at replicating the Mississippi Miracle in early-grade reading interventions.

How would you make it easier for Kansas citizens to follow bills as they flow through the legislature? What, if any, changes would you propose in the “Gut and Go” process?

I honestly have no idea - I'm all ears.

Would you support changes to Kansas election laws and voting systems? Why?

Yes, I would support targeted changes to Kansas election laws and voting systems. Sound election laws are essential, but it's also important they are perceived as reasonable by an average person. Public trust depends on both security and the perception of that security. When people lose confidence in the process, democracy suffers.
