Personal Biography
I am a lifelong Wichitan, father, foster parent, mentor, coach, and candidate for Kansas State Representative in District 89. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and have served my community as a paraeducator, working directly with students and families. My experiences in education, foster care, and community service have shaped my commitment to advocating for strong schools, safer neighborhoods, and opportunities for working families. I believe leadership starts and ends with showing up.
Community/Public Service
Community service and public service have been at the heart of my life since I was 15 years old, when my siblings and I founded Get A Clue Ministries, a nonprofit dedicated to serving families in need, supporting inner-city youth, helping cover summer camp expenses, and organizing community events and youth programs. To this day, we continue to give back and invest in our community. My passion for serving others led me to earn a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and dedicate my career to working with young people and families. I have served as a counselor and Program Director at Kids Across America in Golden, Missouri, a paraeducator, coach, mentor, and foster placement home provider. I was honored to receive the Good Apple Award, an award voted on by my peers in recognition of my commitment to students and education.
