1. What qualifies you as the best candidate for this office?

My job in quality assurance gives me insights into how to make Metro more efficient and to improve the quality of services to District 13. I also have the relationships built that will allow me to hit the ground running on day one. I'm committed to serving the public and putting in the work needed to earn the respect and trust of the district. I will represent all the people and communities that reside in the district, for I believe our diversity is our biggest strength.

2. If elected, what will be your three highest priorities?

I want to increase the transparency of the Metro Government especially with the budget and improve government efficiency. District 13 needs more access to green spaces and a dedicated community center. I will also commit to working with Metro and the State officials to find solutions to our traffic issues on major roadways.

3. What are the most pressing issues facing the public that you plan to address?

The voters want someone that will return emails, hold meetings and engage with them. They're angry that their voices are not being heard. I will make sure that town halls are organized throughout the year so voters have that opportunity. They are also concerned about developers trying to sneak into the area risking the character of the communities. I will not support any project unless the community has had the chance to see and approve it. The people also desire more green space and areas to hang out such as a community center or local coffee shop. I will work with local business leaders and developers to help revitalize the current commercial areas in District 13 to provide local hangouts and/or a community center. I will also work to increase greenways and park space throughout the district. I've also heard from voters who are concerned about traffic and our roadways not being adequate. I will work with Metro and the State to find ways to address this problem.
