Biographical Information

If elected, what would be your top two or three priorities for the coming year?

What do you consider the most important issue facing the municipality today and how would you address the issue if elected to office?

What is your view on consolidation of municipalities and/or sharing services with neighboring municipalities?

What would you do to promote economic development and attract businesses to the municipality?

What skills or expertise do you bring to this position? Please be specific.

My priorities would be public safety, fiscal responsibility, and communication with residents.

Waterford should remain a safe, affordable place to live, and that means supporting our police, fire, EMS, public works, and other essential services while being responsible with taxpayer dollars. I would also work to make township government more accessible and responsive. Residents should know what is happening in their community, understand why decisions are being made, and have a clear way to have their voices heard.
I believe one of the most important challenges facing Waterford is balancing the cost of providing quality municipal services with the financial pressure on our residents.

I would approach that challenge by looking carefully at the budget, pursuing available grants, identifying opportunities to reduce unnecessary costs, and looking for responsible ways to share services when it makes financial and practical sense. Economic development can also play a role by expanding the tax base without putting additional pressure on existing homeowners.

I also believe residents deserve transparency throughout that process. Good government means listening first, explaining decisions clearly, and being willing to have difficult conversations.
I support exploring shared services when they provide a real benefit to Waterford residents. Every proposal should be evaluated based on cost, quality of service, accountability, and whether it makes sense for our community.

I do not believe consolidation should be pursued simply for the sake of consolidation. Waterford has its own identity and needs, and residents should have a meaningful voice in decisions that affect how their community is governed.
I would focus on making Waterford a community where responsible businesses want to invest and stay.

That means encouraging appropriate development, supporting existing local businesses, making the approval process as clear and predictable as possible, and promoting Waterford as a place to live, work, and do business. I would also look for opportunities to attract businesses that complement our community and provide services residents actually need.

Economic development should be thoughtful. We can encourage growth while protecting the character, neighborhoods, and quality of life that make Waterford a great place to call home.
I bring professional experience in communications, community engagement, organization, and working with people from different backgrounds and perspectives. My career has required me to communicate clearly, manage competing priorities, coordinate projects, and work with a wide range of stakeholders.

I also bring more than 15 years of experience as a Waterford resident and a strong record of volunteering in the community. I have been involved with local youth sports, community organizations, and activities that bring residents together. I understand the importance of showing up, listening to people, and following through.

I have also taken the New Jersey State AFL-CIO Labor School, which gave me additional experience.

Improving parks and establishing community spaces.
Organizations that are designed to benefit the town are often pitted against each other. Collaboration and communication would benefit everyone.
Shared services can be beneficial as long as both parties benefit from their joint investment. We are not looking to consolidate our municipality.
Streamlining and updating our townships permitting process with clear guidelines for how to move forward when opening a business in town. Investment in public spaces will also get people out and invested in the community and local businesses.
I have served as a pastor and teacher. I also have served one previous term as a township committeeperson.
