Berkeley County - County Commission

County commissioners are part of the county's governing body. They oversee county finances and administration, including county budgets and levies, roads and bridges, property records, and other responsibilities established by state law. Commissioners serve six-year terms, with one of the three seats elected every two years. Candidates must meet the qualifications for county office and reside in the magisterial district they seek to represent.
