When the Clifton Park Democratic Party asked me to consider running for County Supervisor I found it impossible to sit on the sidelines. I strongly oppose the MAGA movement. I believe those of us who want a different direction have an obligation to stand up, speak out, and compete for every office at every level of government. My educational and professional experience have prepared me to take on this responsibility. I understand how government operates and how important competent, accountable leadership is to the people it serves. I’ve coached soccer and volunteered with the Saratoga County Animal Shelter and the Ballston Lake Emergency Squad. I would bring that same commitment to service to the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors.

My first priority is protecting vulnerable children and ensuring that the tragedy in Mechanicville is never repeated. I will work tirelessly toward that goal. I am strongly opposed to Flock cameras in our communities. I will work to prevent the use of Flock cameras in Clifton Park. I also believe local law enforcement resources should be focused on keeping our communities safe. County resources should not be used to indiscriminately target otherwise law-abiding people who are working, raising families, and trying to build better lives. Finally, economic development must not diminish quality of life. I will stand with residents when proposed businesses or developments threaten the character, safety, or environment of their communities.
