Education Physician Assistant, Master Business Administration
My experience in business would assist the board in navigating challenging budgets and my commitment to health care in this community has taught me to lead with compassion and empathy. I have built connections between my business and the Genesee District Skill Center and would like to continue to see opportunities for young people to get experience in local businesses. I have been involved in education for twenty years with many of the physician assistant programs in the state from student shadowing, lecturing as well as precepting.

My family has been in the community for four generations and I have seen many positive things in this district. I have seen positive growth from this school system and community and I would like to be a part of sustaining this as well as evolving the system further.
My top priority for the district is safety for students and teachers. I would like close communication from students and staff to ensure that they feel comfortable and can focus on education alone. Secondly, I would like to continue the recent trend for the upgrades that modernize our district. From the recreation center to upgrades to all buildings, this board and leadership has done a tremendous job in making Kearsley a modern district that the community can be proud of.
I believe that budgets are going to continue to be a challenge for school boards to manage and with this uncertainty, it will be important for members to understand budgets and manage finite resources. I think student and teacher safety will always be a concern and school should be a place where people can focus solely on education without social or economic pressures. I would like the school board to continue to make decisions that benefit students with food insecurities as well as other social pressures.
I would like voters to know that I am as dedicated to this school district as I am in every other aspect of my life. I am looking forward to working alongside my peers to not only improve our education system but prioritize the safety of all students and faculty.
