Biographical Information

What qualifications or experience make you an asset to the role of Mayor?

What key issues would you address in the near term, and how would you address them?

What long-term strategic goals would you set for your community?

Do you believe elected officials should be required to take an oath to abide by a formal ethics agreement covering conduct, conflicts of interest, and fiduciary responsibility? Why or why not?

What would you like voters to know about you as a public representative?

As a City retiree, I have institutional knowledge that has served me well since my election to City Council in 2019.
I will continue to try to insure the safety and security of all residents and visitors to the City of Flushing through support for all departments.
I am currently working on developing "workforce housing" in the City using Brownfield development funds, as there is a shortage of single family homes.
I personally feel it is unneeded. Elected officials should be vetted by voters to insure that they are in fact ethical. Simply forcing an unethical individual to swear an oath will not change most of them.
My record of transparency and responsiveness to residents speak for themselves. Nothing in that regard will change moving forward into my next term.
