TOWN OF COLUMBUS TOWN COUNCIL {_getChooseLabel(this.selections.length)}

The Town Council has a Council-Manager form of government, with a non-partisan Mayor and four Council members, all elected at-large. The Mayor is elected to a two-year term, and the Council Members are elected to staggered four-year terms. The Mayor votes only in ties and presides over all meetings. The council appoints the Town Manager, who carries out the council s policy decisions through Town Staff; the Town Attorney, who provides legal advice to the Town; and the Town Clerk, who maintains official records for the Town.
