I have had a life-long interest in government and politics.
I am a retired high school social studies teacher.
Three Priorities -
1. Stop the flow of voucher money to private school parents. Public schools are important.
2. Fully fund Medicaid expansion. Everyone deserves good health care.
3. Be an advocate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Human rights are important.
I will be an advocate for traditional desegregated public schools.
Education is for everyone - not just for the rich and wealthy. An educated public is needed for democracy.
Corporations and the wealthy should pay more state taxes.
Funding for people's needs is important.
Fair enforcement of laws is needed to promote liberty and justice for all.
My chances of winning are slim.
However, it is important to have choices.
Today's Republican Party is really Old South Democrats.
They are not just conservative. They are very regressive.
Today's Republicans want to take us back to 1700 - a time
when women were not allowed to vote.
