As an educator with 20 years of experience, I have spent my career listening, solving problems, advocating for students and families, and helping people reach their potential. I bring strong communication, collaboration, organization, and leadership skills to this role.

As an Archdale resident since 2019, I understand and appreciate our community firsthand. I have been involved in our schools, parks, community events, and local organizations, and I have taken the time to understand the Plan Archdale Comprehensive Plan.

I believe my experience, community involvement, and ability to listen to different perspectives would allow me to bring a thoughtful, practical approach to City Council.
Smart Growth & Infrastructure: Ensure growth is planned responsibly, infrastructure keeps pace with development, and growth helps pay for the services it requires. Creating a Sense of Place: Turn the vision in Plan Archdale into action by strengthening downtown Archdale, improving Bonnie Place, and creating more opportunities for local businesses, events, and community gathering. Parks, Recreation & Quality of Life: Invest in Creekside Park, sidewalks, greenways, and public spaces while protecting the small-town character and green spaces that make Archdale a great place to live.
I would make smart growth and infrastructure a priority by ensuring development is planned alongside the infrastructure and services it requires. I would review proposed developments with a focus on roads, water and sewer capacity, traffic, stormwater, emergency services, and the impact on existing neighborhoods. I would also support policies that require growth to help pay for the infrastructure needed to support it, rather than placing the burden on existing residents. My goal would be responsible growth that strengthens Archdale while preserving its small-town character.
My goal is to listen to residents, work collaboratively, and help turn the vision already established in Plan Archdale into meaningful action.
