I am a community member first, and my diverse background, experiences, and perspectives have helped shape me into the leader I am today.
I do not believe effective leadership means expecting everyone to think as I do. Instead, I believe leadership means listening, understanding different perspectives, and remaining focused on the broader issues that are in the best interest of our entire community and all of its members.
I strive to lead with integrity, honesty, transparency, and respect. I believe our community needs leadership that brings people together, encourages thoughtful dialogue, and makes decisions based on what is best for the community not leadership that demands unquestioning agreement.
**Top 3 Issues Facing Rural Hall:**
1. **Responsible Growth** — Grow Rural Hall without losing the character, values, and quality of life that make our community special.
2. **Infrastructure & Services** — Ensure our roads, emergency services, utilities, parks, and other community resources keep pace with growth.
3. **Community Voice & Transparency** — Residents deserve to be heard, informed, and included in decisions that impact their homes, families, and future.
**Rural Hall needs leadership that listens, brings people together, and puts the community first. Leadership not dictatorship.**
**My priority will be responsible growth that protects the future of Rural Hall.** I will make sure development comes with the infrastructure, services, transparency, and community input necessary to support it. **Growth should strengthen our community not change who we are.**
