I’m running to serve, to listen, and to deliver results that matter to our communityz I’ll bring integrity, collaboration, accountability, and a qualified leader with a clear focus on the issues people face every day. I won’t promise perfection—I’ll promise hard work, transparency, and a commitment to representing every constituent with respect and dignity. As a community activist Established,Organized, facilitated the Robeson County MLK parade in Lumberton NC. I have walked in the communities m, I have organized Meet, Eat. And Greets with the people, I have coordinated and led candidates forums. Attended church visitations. I am the approachable, empathetic candidate with great rapport that will and can serve the needs of my constituents.
My most important priority if elected would be improving the quality of life and economic opportunities for the people of District 47. I would focus on strengthening our public schools, supporting small businesses and local employers, improving infrastructure, and expanding access to good-paying jobs. I want to make sure Robeson County receives its fair share of state resources and that our communities have the tools they need to grow and thrive. Most importantly, I would listen to the people I represent and work across party lines to deliver practical results for our families and communities.
My priorities for education policy and funding are invest in our students, support our teachers, and make sure taxpayer dollars are used effectively. As a representative of House District 47, I would work to ensure that our public schools have the resources necessary to meet the needs of every student. That includes competitive compensation and better support for teachers and school staff, particularly in areas where recruiting and retaining qualified educators is difficult.

I also believe funding should follow student needs. Our schools need adequate resources for special education, literacy, counselors, career and technical education, transportation, and other services that directly affect a student's ability to succeed.
Tax policy should support a strong North Carolina economy while ensuring that residents can afford to live, work, and raise their families here. I believe taxes should be fair, predictable, and responsible, with a focus on keeping North Carolina competitive for businesses while maintaining the public services our communities depend on. Tax policy should also recognize the different needs of working families, seniors, small businesses, and rural communities. We should look for ways to reduce unnecessary tax burdens, encourage investment and job creation, and make sure state revenues are sufficient to support quality schools, infrastructure, public safety, and other essential services. Any changes to the tax code should be evaluated carefully
I would promote a balanced approach to public safety that focuses on preventing crime before it happens, supporting law enforcement, and addressing the underlying issues that contribute to violence. This includes strengthening penalties for repeat violent offenders, improving access to mental-health and substance-abuse treatment, expanding resources for local law enforcement and first responders, and supporting evidence-based programs that help young people avoid crime. I would also support reasonable measures to keep firearms out of the hands of people who are legally prohibited from possessing them and encourage responsible firearm storage to prevent accidents and unauthorized access.
