As a successful business leader, I know what it takes to build a team. A large part of that is listening to all sides and working to craft a solution that everyone can support.
Honesty, integrity and transparency in state government.
We must fully fund public education before we can embark on a mass voucher system. Many of the founders of this nation felt that a well-educated populace is a necessary foundation for a free, self-governing society. Thomas Jefferson wrote that "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free... it expects what never was and never will be”. A QUALITY Public education is how we achieve that.
There has to be a balance of revenue generation to support public works while not laying too heavy of a burden on taxpayers. Businesses should pay their share.
Sad to say, we need people convicted of a crime to serve out their sentence.
