I have been a manager for over 20 years and have worked with all kinds of amazing people that weren’t always appreciated due to their station in life. I know how to get results without sacrificing your workers. I was raised in poverty and food insecurity and know what it’s like to struggle. I have a degree in history with a minor in education and was briefly a teacher for CMS. I love Union County and just want to make sure we plan instead of react.
Cost of living and growth is leading to a widening gap of achievement and greater poverty. We need to develop infrastructure including public transit to meet this issue.
The county needs to support all of the school staff. Teachers are essential, but so are custodians, aids and cafeteria workers. We should make sure all are given the support and pay they deserve.
We need to improve the commercial tax base without sacrificing the environment.
Stronger more expanded funding to address the homelessness problem by assisting the shelter, which has a 92% success rate, expand their already established programs.
I would be the first liberal female on the board since the 1990s, we need change because we can all agree the system now is not working. Also please vote for Madeleine Byl as well so we can work together to help Union plan for the future.
