Judge of Probate District 43

Connecticut’s Probate Courts protect the rights of individuals and ensure care, safety and community-based solutions for thousands of our most vulnerable residents and their families in times of need. Probate Courts handle a wide range of sensitive issues affecting children, the elderly, persons with intellectual disability and individuals with psychiatric disabilities, in addition to their traditional role of overseeing decedents’ estates and trusts. In Connecticut, a probate judge must be a resident of the district they serve, a certified member of the Connecticut State Bar, and be actively in good standing. I am an experienced probate attorney and a local small business owner. I live in Danbury, my children attended school in Danbury, and I am an active and engaged member of our community. It would be my honor to serve the citizens of Danbury as Judge of Probate.
One of my passions is educating people about estate planning and probate. The probate court has jurisdiction over matters that involve some of life's most difficult times - losing a loved one, appointing a conservator for someone who cannot manage their affairs, and guardianship of children who have lost their primary guardians. I am a compassionate and experienced attorney, and I look forward to bringing those qualities to the Danbury Probate Court. I will make myself available whenever needed - I will do home visits, nursing home visits, and be available after hours for involuntary commitments. I also promise to hold seminars at local libraries, senior centers and other community forums to educate our citizens about the court and how it serves the city.
