Every day at work, I talk with coworkers, residents, and family members — listening and problem-solving when needed.

I was very proud to be part of the Protect Old Town movement. We got our neighbors to vote YES and saved 5 acres the city had planned to build housing on. I went door to door with flyers, talking with many Negaunee residents along the way.

I want my constituents to know they can always come to me with their concerns or to share their views — I'll listen first, and I'll bring those concerns to the council to start a real discussion.

But most of all, l want Negaunee citizens to know l am NOT afraid to ask the tough questions.
1. Government transparency

2. Fiscal responsibility

3. Accountability

My answer to all three of these is connected: there should never be just one person making decisions for our city, with everyone else expected to be a rubber stamp. Our main objective on this council is to equally make decisions that are best for our neighbors and our town together.
