The Dorchester School District Two Board of Trustees is a nonpartisan board that consists of seven members elected from single-member districts to four-year terms. School board members determine the vision and goals for the district. They adopt policies that give the district direction to set priorities and achieve its goals. School board decisions can reflect differing viewpoints among members. Please describe an experience in which you worked collaboratively with colleagues who held different perspectives to reach a solution.

What steps would you take to ensure that all students—including immigrant and mixed-status students—feel safe, supported, and able to succeed in their schools?

As Dorchester County continues to grow, the county should prioritize ensuring that adequate school capacity and infrastructure are in place before approving or accommodating additional residential growth.
