Bad animal based diet hurting the health of Mainers. The physical and mental wellbeing depends on a peaceful, healthy diet organic and fresh. As Pythagoras said before Christ, -There will never be good health nor peace on earth as long as men murdar animals and they will murdar each other. Violence itself can disappear with non-violent diets. Being a lifelong Vegan Artist for many decades, I attest this is true as I have witnessed and studied in foreign countries mostly 3rd world Africa volunteering helping humans and wildlife. Of course there a variety of other pressing problems which can be solved lest we lose humanity/DNA. Soul is in style & desperately needed. I kid you not.
Dangerous traffic from Kittery's Portsmouth Navy Yard makes it impossible to exit or enter our Admiralty Village safely. We are on the edge of The Navy Yard and subject to pollution too. Kittey has no Town provided household trash removal and never had. For decades The Town uses the excuse that taxes would increase despite The Town has it's own trash bins and pick up paid for by residents. It's asinine that elderly & poor folks have to have a car to drive to the dump since no provision ever for the basic need of garbage removal. Other issues arise pertaining to theft of homes by the county & Town. I kid you not.
I am poor by American standards and alway have been. I am able to help should I be elected. I have little standing as a resident despite yearly addressing our Kittery Town Council on resident' needs. Frequently folks ask me to run for office after they hear me complain and suggest solutions at Town meetings. No bus system for poor Kittery residents to go food shopping, etc. I am an artist, lifelong Vegan single parent of 2 vegan offsprings. One made Olympic history as documented in Smithsonian Museum - and sibling a worker for disability rights along with animal rights. I kid you not.

There are many challenges ahead, but if I narrow it to three, these rise to the top. First, affordability and access to health care: Maine has serious gaps in care partly because workforce shortages leave families waiting too long. Serving on HCIFS, I’m committed to reducing unnecessary licensing barriers so we can attract more providers. Second, the lack of affordable housing continues to strain seniors, families, and workers. And third, we must continue to protect safe, secure voting rights for every Mainer.
Protecting affordable housing especially for residents of manufactured home parks is an urgent issue in our district. These communities are home to seniors, working families, and longtime residents who are at real risk of displacement as outside investors target parks for profit. I’m committed to strengthening protections, keeping lot rents stable, and ensuring residents have a fair chance to stay in the homes and neighborhoods they’ve built their lives around.
I take this work very seriously and focus on practical solutions that make life better for Kittery and Maine residents. Over the last six years, I’ve worked hard to pass legislation that strengthens families, and I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished: creating an interest‑free shutdown loan program for furloughed workers, updating the Kittery Water District Charter, finalizing the Kittery–York boundary, protecting Maine’s PFML program, improving transparency when L&D units close, modernizing licensing for nurse practitioners and naturopathic doctors, expanding dental and women’s health coverage, supporting first responders with PTSD, and ensuring fair pay for rural pharmacists. I will continue show up, listen and work hard for our community.
