Maine faces significant challenges driven by soaring living costs, high electricity rates, and a severe shortage of affordable workforce housing and childcare. Families and seniors are squeezed by increasing food, energy, and fuel costs, while local businesses struggle with acute workforce shortages. Addressing these pressures requires practical, data-driven solutions such as expanding childcare access, streamlining access to homeownership, and lowering everyday expenses to ensure working families can thrive.
In Sanford, our community has recently faced two massive industrial proposals: a commercial biosolids gasification plant and a hyperscale data center. Both projects highlight why robust state-level safeguards are urgently needed to protect our natural resources, local infrastructure, and neighbors. In the legislature, I will bring a data-driven approach paired with a Maine Guide’s sense of stewardship to ensure that high-impact developments are held to strict standard, protecting our drinking water, power grid, and taxpayers so Sanford remains a place where we can live, work, and thrive for generations.
I am running for the State House to bring sensible, data-driven leadership to Augusta and put our community above partisan politics. Sanford is where my wife and I chose to plant our roots, and I would be honored to serve our community in the state legislature.

My background combines over a decade as an analytical development scientist, teaching at the University of New England, and guiding as a Registered Maine Guide. Whether serving on the Sanford Recreation Advisory Board and the Strategies for a Stronger Sanford board, or co-founding the Sanford Clean Air and Water Coalition, I believe in doing the work on the ground. My campaign is funded by neighbors - not PACs - through the Maine Clean Elections system.
