The top priorities I hear from my constituents are housing, protecting our coast and environment, and an economy that provides good jobs and affordability. These issues are all connected. People are struggling to find and keep housing they can afford. Businesses and organizations, including municipalities, schools, and hospitals, have difficulty hiring and retaining employees due to the lack of housing. Impacts from storms and flooding put pressure on our infrastructure, working waterfronts, and municipal budgets.

Now, due to Trump administration policies, tariffs, and the Iran war, prices for gas, food, utilities, and healthcare are way up, making it even harder for people and families to build good lives in Maine.
My focus during my six years in the legislature has been on helping people live and work in Maine. I have advanced legislation to improve access to education and job training, return state revenue sharing to municipalities, and support business growth and innovation, so that Maine’s economy continues to create opportunities.

If re-elected, I will continue this focus, working to: 1) protect our coastal resources while supporting healthy and sustainable communities, 2) assist municipalities in adapting to a changing future, 3) create housing to meet the needs of seniors, working families, and young people, and 4) provide more opportunities for home ownership.

This is how we keep the Maine we love and create a strong future for all.
I call our community “The Coast with the Most,” and I’m dedicated to protecting and improving the well-being of the people of our district. I have lived here for 19 years, and raised my two adult sons here. I want young families to have the same ability – to raise their children and contribute as active community members.

I am a proven leader with the skills and experience to tackle our challenges. I have co-chaired two legislative committees, and I’ve spent over 35 years working in business and economic development. I empower people to take charge of their own futures and work together on lasting solutions.

And I will always protect women’s rights to make the personal reproductive health decisions that affect every aspect of our lives.
