Maine State Senate District 19
What are the greatest challenges currently facing Maine?
What unique problems in your district do you want to address in the legislature?
What do you want voters to know about you?
Affording groceries, gas, housing and healthcare.
Same as above plus I will work hard for common sense consistent regulatory reform and sustainable property tax reform.
I feel especially qualified to address these issues with 42 years of service in the grocery / pharmacy business in Maine, retiring as a Store Manager. I also served on the Rumford Hospital Board of Trustees for about a decade. I was an Oxford County Commissioner for 20 years. And I moderate numerous town and school budget meetings. I recognize the need to balance services and taxes.
Lastly, we need to work to set the example to bring back unity and eliminate the divisive, hurtful rhetoric.

The high price of fuel for vehicles and home heating has become the number one issue because it also increases the prices for everything we buy in Maine, from groceries to building materials.
I would like to work on improving the availability of housing, both rentals and starter homes which would allow young people and families to stay in the area.
I am willing to work with any members of the legislature or the public, not just those in a particular party or those with beliefs that are similar to mine, in order to improve the conditions in Maine.
