Affordability. Too many working families are struggling to balance their bills and meet essential needs. Rising costs, taxes, and inflation are putting tremendous pressure on people who are already living paycheck to paycheck. We need to focus on making Maine more affordable for working people and families.
Economic growth and tax relief. Downeast Maine needs real opportunities for growth while protecting the small businesses and property owners who are the backbone of our communities. I want to work toward tax relief for local small businesses and property owners, encourage responsible economic development, and help create an economy where our young people can afford to stay and build their lives.
I’m one of you. I’m a working man who understands what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck and make difficult choices to pay the bills. I want leadership that stands with the people not political parties, special interests, or wealthy donors. I believe elected officials should be accountable first and foremost to the people who put them in office. That’s why I’m running as an independent: to listen to the people of District 6 and make decisions based on what is best for our communities.
