State Representative District 90
Together, the House of Representatives and the Senate constitute the Connecticut General Assembly (CGA). The General Assembly enacts legislation dealing with state appropriations and finance, public welfare, the environment, public works, housing, education, civil and criminal laws, and other matters. The Senate tries all impeachments of executive and judicial branch officials. In Connecticut, members of the state’s legislative body, the General Assembly, must be at least eighteen years old and reside in the district they represent. Senate and House members serve two-year terms. Candidates were asked to respond to questions developed by local Leagues of Women Voters (LWV). Candidates enter their replies directly into Vote411, and replies are not edited by the LWV.This is the link to the CGA website: https://www.cga.ct.gov/To view sample ballots go to this website:- https://portal.ct.gov/sots/election-services/town-ballots/2026-november-town-election-ballots

State Representative for the 90th District since 2016, currently serves as the Ranking Member of the Judiciary Committee, and as Regular Member of the Public Safety Committee and the (very unique) Regulations Review Committee. Member of the Wallingford Town Council since 2010. Trial Lawyer for 25 years, concentrating in the areas of divorce, domestic violence, civil and constitutional rights.
Smaller government, lower taxes, and less interference in the day-today affairs of our law-abiding citizens.
Lower taxes, and stop wasteful spending and corruption, both of which lead to the un-affordability of our state. Year after year, monies are given to various towns, groups and entities without any oversight, and then when malfeasance determined, it is too later to recoup the taxpayer dollars improperly allotted. The arbitrary increase in the minimum wage also contributed to it, and tying that to the "cost of living" sets the economy on a downward spiral. It also negatively impacts the employment of individuals with special needs. That is an area of person concern as I recognize that those jobs give a sense of purpose, a legitimate and worthy natural goal of most human beings.
