I’m a mom raising three kids in Spartanburg, a nonprofit leader, and the wife of a local small business owner. I’m running to bring practical, accountable leadership to Columbia—and I promise to show up, listen, and always put Spartanburg first.
I’ve spent more than 15 years leading organizations, managing teams and budgets, building coalitions, and bringing people with different perspectives together around a common goal. My career in healthcare advocacy has taught me how policy decisions affect real families and how to turn ideas into measurable results. I’m a working mom of three (all in elementary school), a Little League coach, and the wife of a local small business owner. I know how to listen, ask tough questions, find common ground, and get things done. I’ll bring those skills to Columbia, along with a simple commitment: show up, do the work, and put Spartanburg first. Always.
1. Expand access to affordable healthcare. I’ll fight to bring our federal tax dollars home through Medicaid expansion, strengthen access to doctors, and protect women’s healthcare.
2. Invest in strong schools and safe kids. Public schools are workforce infrastructure. I’ll support teachers, expand career pathways, and protect kids from addictive social media, harmful AI, and online predators.
3. Make growth work for Spartanburg. I’ll fight for roads and infrastructure that keep pace with growth, demand transparency around data centers and corporate incentives, and make sure residents have a real voice in decisions affecting their communities.
I believe this office should be more accessible, responsive, and accountable to the people it represents. I would hold regular constituent office hours, communicate clearly about what is happening in Columbia, and spend time throughout the district listening to residents—not just during election season. I also believe representation means putting Spartanburg ahead of partisan politics, including when decisions about redistricting could divide our community and weaken its voice. Above all, showing up is fundamental to the job. Residents deserve a representative who is present for important votes, does the homework, explains their decisions, and remembers who sent them to Columbia.
