If elected to continue serving on the St. Joseph Public Schools Board of Education, I'll see our voter-approved bond projects through. That means delivering the promised improvements to our buildings and learning spaces, staying on budget, and keeping the tax rate flat, just as we committed. I'll also push for clear, regular updates so families can follow the progress. Second, I'll help lead a thoughtful and inclusive planning process for the district's next strategic plan. I want to hear from parents, district staff, and all our neighbors to build a plan that keeps our students thriving and our schools strong for years to come.

If re-elected, I will continue work to improve community members' understanding of Michigan's complex school funding and bond structure so that transparency is continued and enhanced. Guided by a strong strategic plan, I will work to provide ways in which the community can see how and why the board makes decisions so that SJPS student success is supported in all areas. SJPS has a long tradition of excellence. My commitment is to protect what makes our district exceptional while continually asking how we can do better for our students, teachers and staff, as well as the community that supports our schools.
