South Carolina Commissioner of Agriculture
Commissioner of Agriculture -- The commissioner promotes agriculture and cattle raising which includes information about the natural resources in the state. In addition, the commissioner collects information about acreage and the location of land and the terms in which land can be purchased from landowner and farmers. A state land registry is also coordinated by the commissioner. This is a four-year elected position.NOTE:This candidate’s responses were not available before our publication deadline.
