Training I’m a mother of a third grader at Hollywood Elementary. That’s my most important qualification for this role: I care about every child in our district the way I care about my own, and I’m running because I want the Lakeshore School Board to put kids and families first in every decision.
KIDS FIRST: Every decision I make on the school board will start with one question: is this what’s best for kids? That means prioritizing student safety and mental health support, so every child feels secure enough to learn and grow. It means strengthening literacy, because reading proficiency is the foundation for every other academic success. And it means building real trust between parents, educators, and school leaders — because when families, teachers, and administrators work as partners instead of adversaries, kids are the ones who benefit.

BY THE BOOK: I will hold the school board accountable to following all applicable laws, regulations, and best practices — with transparency as the standard, not the exception. Important issues should be discussed openly at board meetings, so that deliberation is part of the public record. Decisions shouldn’t be settled in private beforehand and simply rubber-stamped in public; families and taxpayers deserve to see the real discussion happen.
