I grew up in this district and attended East Middle School and Canton High School, experiences that shaped my values around community engagement, leadership and inclusion. Over nearly 20 years in strategic communications, public engagement and organizational leadership across major industries, I’ve led efforts that strengthen trust and connect diverse audiences. I’ve also served on multiple boards, helping guide policy, build partnerships and support youth programs.
I’m running because this district shaped my life and grounded my belief in public education. P‑CCS is facing complex challenges, and I want to help strengthen trust, deepen community engagement and support decisions rooted in transparency and student wellbeing.
P‑CCS is facing several pressing challenges. The district continues to navigate budget pressures tied to statewide enrollment declines and increased competition from school‑of‑choice options. Families and educators are also raising concerns about student wellbeing, including mental health and safety. At the same time, schools must adapt to rapid changes in technology, including the responsible use of AI in classrooms. Addressing these issues requires transparency, steady leadership and consistent engagement with students, families and staff.
