Number of years as resident 5
For the last 16 years, I’ve owned and operated a small medical billing company, which I started from the ground up. Over the years, I’ve learned how to work with others for the collective good.

I’m not afraid of asking questions and seeking guidance from others who know more than I do about an issue.

I’m here because I care about this community and want what is best for it now and in the future. We need to remember our roots while striving to innovate and modernize.
The biggest challenge will be to get the council and the community to work together in collaboration. As president, I will be one of seven council members, and we will handle each situation as it comes – one issue at a time.

Other areas of concern are the schools, budgeting, and communication. I’d like to see the Village Council, School Board, and residents work together to build community. I’d also like to see more village residents participating in council meetings and committee meetings.
The Village is a mixture of all age groups. Some residents have lived here most of their lives, while others are transplants from larger cities looking for a quiet, friendly community, and that’s what we have here. It’s not uncommon to see residents playing in their front yard, talking with neighbors, or walking through the neighborhoods and people waving “hello” to each other.

The village park is home to OCRC, which hosts Little League baseball and softball. The park also has play equipment and trails through the woods overlooking a small creek.

Businesses can look forward to a quaint downtown area.
