It is more my experiences than my education that make me the best qualified candidate. From building a successful business, to serving in multiple levels of government and working in local fire and EMS, I have gained great knowledge and pulse of our community.
Starting a business from the ground up in 2007, working with budgets is not only necessary it is vital in the operation of a successful business. I served on the Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Commission prior to being elected to City Council in 2020. In those positions I gained experience with zoning ordinances as well the budgeting and capital improvement processes. All of these prior experiences were important in preparing me for Mayor in 2024. During my first term as Mayor, I continued to grow my knowledge in those processes, sharpening my skills and preparing me to continue my elected role as Mayor.
In my current roll as Mayor I feel we are very accountable and transparent, which will continue. All of our meeting packets and agendas are available online prior to the meetings. The budget is available in the meeting packets, and open to the public. The information Council receives is the same information that we make available to each and every resident.

In the past 2 years I have addressed many concerns of residents. Whether that be over the phone or on their front porch on Christmas Eve. I have and will continue to take every communication to heart as that is who I am in my personal and professional life.
