Tell us about yourself and why you are running for office?

What do you believe are the most important educational priorities for the school corporation over the next four years, and what specific actions should the School Board take to improve student achievement and prepare students for college, careers, and life after graduation?

Changes resulting from Indiana’s SEA 1 may affect property tax revenues and the financial resources available to school corporations. How should the School Board respond to these financial pressures while protecting classroom instruction, maintaining facilities, retaining quality staff, and being responsible to taxpayers?

Many Indiana school corporations are facing challenges related to enrollment, teacher and staff recruitment and retention, and changing community needs. What strategies would you support to ensure the long-term strength and sustainability of the school corporation?

What do you believe is the proper role of a School Board member, and how would you promote transparency, respectful decision-making, and meaningful communication with parents, employees, students, and community members?
