To vote on local laws, resolutions and ordinances within the city. To represent the citizens of Lowell, and be a voice for the people.
Having worked for the city in various phases for 9 years I have an understanding of the duties this position requires. As I am retired I have many more hours to prepare myself and read the agenda packet each month. I can do extensive research and ask questions before the council meetings. I have worked in management my entire adult life, I know how to solve problems. My experience will be a bonus for the city. Bottom line is I LOVE LOWELL, I’m ready willing and able to do my part to make it better.
We must have complete transparency throughout the city government. I believe we need a massive upgrade to the City webpage, make it user friendly and have contact information for the Mayor, Council members and department heads. We need more citizen input. Each council member should make sure his Ward has prior knowledge of all issues. We need to restore trust, and above all represent the people honestly and completely.
