I have held the position of the Avoca Recorder/Treasurer with clean audits since 2017. Before having this position I served on both the Avoca Planning Commission and the Avoca Town Council. I have attended the Municipal Clerks Certification Program (2017, 2018, 2019) and received my certification for the 2026 Mandatory Treasurer Training. I am deeply involved in my community, have served as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT, I co-chair the Avoca Easter Egg Hunt & Trunk -r- Treat (10+ years), and have lived in the same house in Avoca since 1989.
I will continue digitizing our physical archived files to ensure documents are readily accessible. Modernizing our filing system is a key step toward achieving greater transparency and efficiency.
