Represent and engage with the residents of Elm Springs to the City Council. Propose ideas for municipal improvements and consider the proposals of others for same. Review for accuracy and ethical use of, City revenues, expenses, and appropriations. Provide opportunities for residents to participate in the process and utilize judgement and past experiences to make judgements on City affairs. This includes both fiscal and quality of life concerns.
Over 40 years experience in private enterprise in Sales, Operations, Administrative and Execution Management segments of business in both the U.S. and Mexico. Presently a Board Member and Treasurer of the Property Owners Association in my community.
I feel that the City’s website interface for the community is outdated and needs modernization to allow for proper transparency and interaction with the community. Some of the issues that we’re currently experiencing revolve around public involvement and communication. Making that a simpler process for the residents will help to avoid misunderstandings and provide for clearer expectations and foster civic engagement on the part of all our citizens. It should also provide for more efficient administration for City employees.
This will require a new platform and design/construction by a firm or firms specializing in that type of work, or perhaps members of the community with specific experience in that field.

City Council
The City Council’s duty is to represent the residents of Elm Springs and help make decisions that guide the city responsibly. That includes adopting ordinances, approving budgets and expenditures, setting priorities for infrastructure and public services, reviewing development and land-use matters, and providing oversight of city government. Just as importantly, a council member should listen to residents, ask questions, consider the long-term impact of decisions, and conduct city business in a transparent and accountable manner.
I am an industrial engineer with 20 years of experience in data analytics, leading teams, solving problems, improving processes, and using data to make informed decisions. My professional background has taught me to evaluate complex issues with facts and data, ask the right questions, identify inefficiencies, and consider both short-term impacts and long-term consequences. I also have experience communicating clearly and working with people across different functions and viewpoints to reach practical solutions. I believe those skills would be valuable on the City Council when reviewing budgets, infrastructure needs, development proposals, land-use matters, and other issues affecting Elm Springs.
The first thing I would work to change is the lack of transparency and public engagement in our current city government. Residents should not have to work to find basic information about what their city is doing. I would push for detailed agendas, readily available city documents, better public notification, accessible elected officials, and online access to City Council and Planning Commission meetings so residents can stay informed and engaged even when they cannot attend in person. Restoring trust starts by making city government open, accountable, and easier for residents to engage with.
