Edinburgh Town Council Member, At Large {_getChooseLabel(this.selections.length)}

Serves on the town council, the legislative body that governs a town and is responsible for making local laws, policies, and budget decisions. Council members represent the residents of the town, hold public meetings, vote on ordinances and resolutions, and ensure that the town government operates efficiently, transparently, and in accordance with state law. The term is four years.

I have 20+ years of experience serving on governing boards, including budget oversight. I’ve always been willing to listen to the concerns of my fellow community members and I put the needs of the community first.
One of the most important issues is our ability to continue to provide at least the current level of community services and programs with the least tax impact. It’s imperative that the board, town manager and department heads work together to make this happen.
The highest priorities should be a continuation of the work that’s currently being done on our streets and electrical substations, as well as beginning improvements to the 22 year old wastewater treatment plant and upgrading water mains.
