Education Kalamazoo College, University Michigan Law School
Qualifications and Experience Currently Washtenaw County Prosecutor, Former Senior Legal Counsel for the City of Detroit, Former SCOTUS Law Clerk
I’m a proud Michigander. After Kalamazoo College and U-M Law School, I clerked on the U.S. Supreme Court for Justices O’Connor and Ginsburg. As senior legal counsel for Detroit, I led lawsuits against the opioid industry and won nearly $100M for public schools. As an environmental lawyer, I represented states against polluters like Exxon and Shell, securing nearly $3B in relief. I am the Washtenaw County Prosecuting Attorney. I am proud of the work that we have done that focuses on rehabilitation and fairness. I believe our justice system should work for everyone, not just the powerful. I will be a fighter for all Michiganders.
SAFEGUARD OUR CONSTITUTION AND PROTECT CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS: The Constitution has protected some of our most fundamental rights: free speech, due process and equal protection. I will use every tool at my disposal to ensure that no Michigander is denied their constitutional rights. FIGHT CORPORATE MALFEASANCE I will stand up to corporate malfeasance wherever it crosses a legal line. I will ensure that workers are paid the money they are owed and enjoy safe dignified working conditions. PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT: I will hold polluters accountable for the damage they cause to our air, water, and land.
AI has increased price-gouging, fraud, and scams—and with the US government eliminating consumer and environmental enforcement, states are the backstop. As AG, I’ll use my consumer and environmental background to hold bad actors accountable. On criminal justice, public safety must always be top priority, and prosecution trauma-informed. I respect local prosecutorial authority, but AGs must intervene when inaction threatens public safety, leaves civil-rights, environmental, or corporate-abuse victims unprotected, or when corruption taints a case. I’ll also build on the AG’s Conviction Integrity Unit to ensure no innocent person is imprisoned.

Occupation / Current Position Eaton County Prosecutor
Education Bachelors at UNLV & J.D. at Cooley Law School
Qualifications and Experience Eaton County Prosecutor, Douglas R. Lloyd, serves as the chief law enforcement officer for Eaton County. In that capacity, Lloyd manages 10 attorneys and 15 administrative staff. He is responsible f
I bring more than 30 years of courtroom and prosecutorial experience, including 4+ terms as Eaton County Prosecutor. I have led attorneys and staff, tried criminal cases, built an Economic Crime Unit that has returned more than $10 million to victims, and worked with law enforcement and prosecutors across Michigan. I am running for Attorney General because Michigan needs experienced, independent leadership focused on enforcing the law, protecting people, and delivering results.
My top priorities would be protecting Michigan families from crime and fraud, defending consumers, holding accountable those who abuse public trust, and enforcing Michigan law fairly and consistently. I would strengthen coordination with local prosecutors and law enforcement, expand efforts to combat economic and organized crime, and ensure the Attorney General’s office uses its resources where they can have the greatest impact. The office should be a force for public safety and accountability, not partisan politics.
Michigan’s justice system should balance public safety, individual rights, accountability, and fairness. As Attorney General, I would support strong consumer and environmental enforcement and oppose policies that weaken accountability or public safety. Post-conviction claims should receive fair review based on the evidence and law. Trauma can provide important context, but should not create a separate standard of justice. The AG should intervene when a local prosecutor declines to act because of a conflict or other compelling circumstance.

Occupation / Current Position Electronic Technician
Education 3 years LCC
Qualifications and Experience 35 years of researching the Michigan constitution and statutes
I have been researching the Michigan constitution and the Michigan statutes for the past 35 years, and I have found that there is way to much corruption and public servants not reading or obeying our constitution and statutes. I find that way to many Attorneys are being elected only on the basis of knowing the statutory law. I have personal knowledge that they in fact don't know law, only legal process, not common law. Ask your favorite attorney to see is State issued License, and if anything, you'll see his or her BAR card, we don't authorize the BAR to issue a license... When I am elected we'll have a proper license for Judges and attorneys
My top priorities as Attorney General will be to bring an end to the corruption and tyranny of the public, has anyone read the Michigan Property Tax act? It is being misapplied, the jurisdiction of the state does not extend to private property, no private property owner should be being taxed, it is a money making scheme to generate money to the government. That is only one of the changes, the next one is that there is no attorney licensed in this state as per MCL 600.901, there is no judge in this state licensed in this state as per Michigan constitution at Article 6 Section 19. Who are supposed to correct this, hm, the unlicensed attorneys.
The Attor. General needs to stop corruption. The Michigan constitution at Art. 1 Sec.1 states the AUTHORITY in our state. It is the PEOPLE, the people are treated like sheep, to be sheared. However the people need a leader to educate them to understand their rights. I want to be that person. The motor vehicle code is used to fleece us, it's only for business entities, see MCL 257.40, are you one of those? The Property tax act, does the state own your property, or do you? Has anyone read the state Income Tax act, do you owe a income tax, look at your county, state tax bill, is it you? Look at it close, IS IT IN ALL Capitol LETTERS, yes it is!!

Qualifications and Experience 24 years a practicing attorney
I have been an attorney for 24 years in consumer law mostly bankruptcy. I feel that a lot of corporations and debt collectors take advantage of people. With technology it is like the old west out there. Illegal text messages, illegal prerecorded messages.
White collar crime, corporate crime, unfair collection of debt, illegal communications violations.
