The responsibility of the school board is to set district goals and evaluate results; establish district policies; hire and evaluate the superintendent; align district budget with goals; approve and evaluate curriculum; adopt policies regarding staff terms of employment, development and appraisal; and collaborate with community members on mutually beneficial partnerships and to address issues affecting the district.
