Hazlet Township Committee

Hazlet Township Committee -- Full Term -- Vote for OneHazlet is governed under the Township form of New Jersey municipal government. The Township Committee is comprised of five members who are elected directly by the voters at-large in partisan elections. Committee members serve three-year terms of office on a staggered basis, with either one or two seats coming up for election each year in the November general election. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor are elected annually by the Committee from among its five members at the reorganization meeting held each January.
