Too many Americans work hard yet struggle with housing, healthcare, education, utilities, and everyday necessities, while trust in government continues to decline. We also face threats to civil rights, weakened government oversight, climate risks, and costly military commitments abroad. I support universal healthcare, stronger workers’ rights, affordable housing and education, investment in resilient infrastructure, and meaningful oversight of federal agencies and spending. Congress must protect constitutional rights, reclaim its responsibility over war powers, and put the needs of working people ahead of powerful special interests. Government should help people live with dignity and be accountable to the people it serves.
Affordability is at the center of my campaign. I support raising wages, protecting collective bargaining, expanding affordable housing, reducing healthcare and prescription costs through universal healthcare, and making public college and vocational education more affordable. We should address excessive utility costs, discourage destabilizing rent increases, protect consumers, and invest in infrastructure without continually shifting costs onto working families. I also support stronger scrutiny of development, warehouses, and data centers when they strain local infrastructure or increase costs for residents. Economic policy should be judged by whether working people can afford a home, healthcare, education, food, utilities, and a secure future.
Healthcare should be a right, not a privilege tied to employment or income. I support a universal single-payer healthcare system that includes medical, prescription, mental health, and preventive care. Until we achieve that, Congress should reduce prescription costs, strengthen coverage, protect people with preexisting conditions, expand community-based mental health services, and eliminate unnecessary administrative barriers that keep patients from care. Mental healthcare deserves the same seriousness as physical healthcare, including timely access before someone reaches a crisis. Patients and providers should spend less time fighting insurers and navigating bureaucracy and more time focused on treatment, prevention, and recovery.
Our immigration system must be lawful, humane, and consistent with due process and civil rights. After nearly 13 years working in civil-rights and civil-liberties oversight at DHS, I believe the current enforcement structure needs fundamental reform. I support abolishing ICE and replacing it with accountable institutions focused on legitimate public-safety and immigration functions, with strong independent oversight. I support protecting asylum, refugee and TPS programs and providing workable paths to legal status and citizenship. State and local governments should cooperate with federal authorities on genuine public-safety matters, but local institutions should not become extensions of indiscriminate federal immigration enforcement or undermine community trust and constitutional protections.
I support reproductive freedom and believe decisions about abortion, contraception, fertility care, pregnancy, and other reproductive healthcare belong primarily to patients in consultation with their healthcare providers—not politicians. Congress should establish strong federal protections for reproductive healthcare, protect access across state lines, safeguard contraception and medication, and protect patients and providers from improper government interference. States may regulate healthcare within legitimate medical and safety standards, but fundamental rights should not depend on a person’s ZIP code. Government should ensure people have accurate information, affordable healthcare, privacy, and the freedom to make deeply personal medical decisions for themselves.
Climate resilience must be treated as infrastructure and public-safety policy. I support investing in flood mitigation, stormwater systems, resilient roads and bridges, the electric grid, emergency preparedness, and protection of drinking water and natural areas. Federal funding should help communities prepare before disasters rather than repeatedly paying to rebuild afterward. I also support accelerating clean energy while protecting consumers and workers during the transition. In NJ-03, development decisions matter too: warehouses, data centers, and other large projects should be evaluated for their effects on flooding, traffic, water, energy demand, farmland, and local infrastructure. Climate policy should make communities safer, healthier, and more affordable.
Democracy works only when eligible voters can participate and trust that the rules are fair. I support strong voting-rights protections, accessible registration and voting, early and mail voting, adequate polling locations, language and disability access, and reliable paper records and election audits. I oppose intimidation, discriminatory barriers, and partisan manipulation of election administration or district lines. Restoring trust also requires transparency: election officials should clearly explain procedures, correct misinformation with evidence, and make legitimate records available for public scrutiny. I also support campaign-finance transparency and reducing the influence of concentrated special-interest money. Elections belong to voters, not parties or wealthy donors.

The greatest challenges facing South Jersey families are the crushing cost of living, public safety, and a loss of accountability in Washington. To tackle inflation, we must rein in reckless federal spending, audit government programs for waste, and restore American energy independence to lower gas and grocery prices. On public safety, we must support our local law enforcement with resources, training, and equipment while securing our borders to halt the flow of fentanyl. Above all, Washington needs practical problem-solvers who put families ahead of partisan agendas. I will bring Marine-strength discipline and an accountant’s eye to ensure tax dollars stay in our communities and government works for the people.

A secure nation requires both strong borders and a modern, functional legal immigration system. Securing our border with technology, infrastructure, and support for frontline agents is essential to stopping human trafficking and the deadly flow of fentanyl.
However, enforcement is only half the equation. We must overhaul our broken legal immigration system by eliminating bureaucratic backlogs, expanding lawful work visas to meet local workforce needs, and creating a streamlined, merit-based pathway for those who respect our laws and want to contribute to our economy.
Regarding intergovernmental cooperation: local, state, and federal law enforcement must work as partners. Policies that prohibit cooperation on violent criminal offenders put communities at risk. As a former NYPD officer, I believe seamless communication between agencies is essential to protecting every South Jersey family.
As a father, I value the sanctity of life and believe every child is a blessing. I support common-sense protections for unborn life with standard exceptions for rape, incest, and to save the life of the mother. Following the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, the authority to regulate abortion appropriately rests primarily with the states and the people through their elected representatives.
At the same time, we must expand whole healthcare and family support. I support protecting affordable access to IVF, expanding maternal healthcare and prenatal care in underserved communities, ensuring contraception remains widely available, and strengthening child care support for young mothers. Compassionate policy must support both mothers and children before and after birth.
South Jersey communities are especially vulnerable to coastal storm surges, river flooding along the Delaware basin, and aging infrastructure. Protecting our neighborhoods requires practical, forward-looking investments rather than partisan gridlock.

Hyper-militarism: The bipartisan endless war machine enriches military contractors, lobbyists, and politicians, while it fuels devastation around the world and drains funds from our domestic needs. The Pentagon budget consumes over half of the discretionary federal budget! If we cut the military budget by 50% our country would still be spending twice as much as any other country in the world. We must create a new foreign policy based on diplomacy, international law, and human rights.
Social injustice: To reverse surging inequality and insecurity, we need an Economic Bill of Rights establishing the rights to a living-wage job, housing, healthcare, and a secure retirement.
Climate disruption: We’re facing a worsening global climate crisis that threatens habitat and ecological balances. The solution offered by the Green Party is a more-comprehensive version of the Green New Deal. We call for allocating substantial funding to support renewable energy and clean transportation technology.
. Implement public housing investment with a goal to make 60% of the market high-quality, income-based units (i.e., social housing).
. Prohibit finance capital from buying up single-family homes and rental housing stock.
. Guarantee affordable, efficient utilities through a transition of all utilities to public not-for-profit ownership.

The United States is the only industrialized nation in the world without a national health care system. Under a universal, comprehensive, single-payer system, the administrative waste of private insurance corporations would be redirected to patient care. If our country were to shift to a universal coverage plan, as in Canada and many European countries, the savings in administrative costs would be more than enough to offset the cost of additional care. Expenses for businesses currently providing coverage would be reduced, while state and local governments would pay less because they would receive reimbursement for services provided to the previously uninsured, and because public programs would cease to be the "dumping ground" for high-risk patients and those rejected by HMOs. In addition, people would gain the peace of mind in knowing that they have the healthcare they need. No longer would they have to worry about the prospect of financial ruin if they become seriously ill.
We need an overhaul of the immigration system, including transfer of courts to the federal judiciary, shutting down detention centers, and more efficient processes. We need properly funded institutions to ensure a timely, ethical, transparent, and dignified path to citizenship for immigrants, asylum seekers, and refugees. Border policy should move toward humane and effective asylum processing. Instead of jailing migrants and asylum seekers, we should create non-custodial reception centers at the border. Migrants should be processed rapidly to screen for significant criminal records. Once processed, migrants should have papers to begin work immediately, making them a productive resource for communities.
Desiring cheap labor, businesses encouraged the government to be lax about enforcing immigration policies for many years. Those who came in under those circumstances should not now be hunted down by ICE. Provide them with a path to citizenship.
I unequivocally support a woman's right to reproductive choice, no matter her marital status or age. Contraception and safe, legal abortion procedures should be available on demand and included in all health insurance coverage. The “morning-after” pill must be affordable and easily accessible without a prescription, together with a government-sponsored public relations campaign to educate women about this form of contraception. Clinics must be accessible. They should offer advice on contraception and the means for contraception; consultation about abortion and the performance of abortions. Any state government must be able to legally offer these services free of charge to women at the poverty level.
We encourage women and men to prevent unwanted pregnancies. In that regard, information is necessary for self-determination, to make informed decisions, and to prevent unintended consequences.
. End all forms of subsidies to the fossil fuel industry.
. Invest in renewable energy infrastructure including wind, solar, tidal, and geothermal, with adequate battery and energy storage.
. Build a nationwide, publicly-owned smart electricity grid and an electrified coast to coast high-speed rail network.
. Create an Office of Climate Mobilization to coordinate policy changes and other needed interventions to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions.
. Ensure a Just Transition for workers shifting from the fossil fuel and other polluting industries to alternative work of their choosing.
. Ban all forms of fracking, mountaintop removal, tar sands mining, and new fossil fuel infrastructure.
. Phase out nuclear power, a toxic, expensive, and uninsurable technology.
. Require new buildings to demonstrate zero emissions by 2035. Retrofit existing buildings.
. Revive the American Climate Corps initiative. It could become a public agency that employs millions for ecosystem restoratation.
The number of Americans who feel that neither establishment party represents them is at a record high. The parties of War and Wall Street have systematically concentrated power in the hands of their wealthy donors, locking out the people from their rightful place at the decision-making table. We need to revive our democracy with a full spectrum of electoral system reforms -- because without freedom of choice in elections, there is no democracy:
. Replace the exclusionary “only-two-significant-parties” system with full multi-party democracy through ranked-choice voting and proportional representation.
. Institute full public financing of elections -- get the corrupting influence of private money out of politics.
. Abolish the Electoral College; elect the president via national popular vote using ranked-choice voting.
. Support a modern Voting Rights Act, including non-partisan redistricting commissions and same-day voter registration nationwide.
