Working families and seniors cannot afford the basic necessities of life. We are overburdened by high rents, low-wages, and medical and student debt. Instead of investing in robust social programs for our people, we choose to spend trillions of dollars fighting pointless wars, supporting genocide, and caging tens of thousands of hard-working people in so-called detention centers.
We support national rent control, social housing, a $25 minimum wage, universal healthcare, student debt relief, free college, and paths to legalization over detention centers.
We need to protect families and small businesses by enacting national rent control that covers commercial and residential properties. We need income-based public housing.
The time has come to raise the minimum wage to $25 an hour and index it to inflation; this will boost the purchasing power of families in the district. If we socialize the cost of healthcare via single-payer, we can reduce the cost of everyone.
We support funding funding clinics and hospitals in medical deserts. We believe in creating a universal healthcare system by expanding medicare to cover everyone, regardless of status. This would be essentially a single-payer model free at the point of service.
DHS has become a rogue agency that undermines American Civil Liberties, spies on the public, and criminalizes dissent. ICE functions as secret police, enacting a "tough on crime" outlook to get votes for hardliners in both parties. Both of these agencies need to be dismantled. We need a general amnesty that provides paths of legalization for those are already here and a radical shift in our foreign policy, away from coups, sanctions, and blockades, which destabilize the region and create huge migration flows.
We are staunch supporters of every person's right to bodily autonomy and access to ALL healthcare, including abortion, paid for by the state. The government SHOULD NOT insert themselves between individuals and healthcare providers and make medical decisions.
We are experiencing an existential crisis for humanity and all life on the planet. Over the next decade, we need to radically change our energy mix. Fossil fuels can no longer power the economies of the global north. For this end, renewable energy has to scale up quickly. The Americas, particularly in the south, hold the highest potential of green energy production, along with Africa. As one of the key contributors of Green House emissions, the United States must partner with its neighbors and follow the steps of Europe, integrating our energy grids as a continent. This is critical to de-carbonize all domestic consumption. Together, we can save ourselves and the planet.

On government reform, we need campaign finance limits, transparency mandates, and strict accountability for officials. These policies will build a more just, equitable, and sustainable America.

Our immigration system needs comprehensive reform. I support a direct pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, permanent DACA protection, an end to for-profit detention, and decriminalized border crossings with humane asylum processing. Immigration enforcement is strictly federal. Local police should never act as immigration agents. I oppose 287(g) agreements and support sanctuary policies that protect community trust.
The real crisis is our immigration courts. Judges handle 3,000 to 4,000 cases each, creating years-long backlogs. These delays force people to pay crushing legal fees for years and risk being labeled non-compliant over minor clerical issues or missed notices caused by system overload. Congress must force hiring enough judges to cap caseloads at 700, guarantee legal representation, and simplify filing so no one falls through the cracks due to bureaucratic failure.
Reproductive healthcare is a fundamental right, not a political bargaining chip. I support full access to abortion, contraception, fertility treatment, and maternal care without restriction, stigma, or cost barriers. The federal government must codify Roe into law and guarantee nationwide access so no state can strip these rights away. States should handle implementation and provider licensing, but they cannot ban, restrict, or criminalize abortion. The federal government should fund clinics, protect providers from harassment, and ensure medication abortion is available by mail nationwide. No person should have to travel across state lines or face criminal charges for basic medical care. Healthcare decisions belong between a mother, family, faith and physician, not politicians.

These receipts provide the backbone for routine, foolproof audits that trace every vote back to its precinct. The federal government should set baseline security and audit standards, but states and localities should choose equipment and run elections with federal funding to upgrade outdated machines. States must automatically register US Citizens to vote. implement blockchain technology to prevent hacking.
