I’m qualified because I’ve been doing the hard work and listening to what the people of District 87 actually need done. I’ve spoken with parents concerned about overcrowded classrooms, single mothers burdened by high insurance rates, life long residents' concerns that outta towners are making their lives more expensive, farmers worried about rapid developers buying their land up when the crops fail this summer, teachers working a second job outside the classroom to help feed their kids.

I support getting rid of the "You Must Live in the precinct in which you want to vote" requirement. All that requirement does is hurt hard working folks from voting on their lunch break and after work if rush hour is bad. Your bottom line qualifications for voting in this state should be that you are a resident of South Carolina, that you are at least 18 years old by Election Day, and that you are a U.S. citizen. That's it. Make it simple and let them vote.
I support universal healthcare for all. But until that day comes we need an affordable single-payer health care plan or Medicare for All that can be state implemented. I'd also like to lower the cost on prescriptions and help build more hospitals in rural communities.
We need environmental impact studies on our water supply and power grid structure to make sure it can handle the load and not end up costing tax payers not only their money but their lives. Every year South Carolina gets hotter and drier. Those damn data centers will suck up more water than we got and it’ll produce more hotter polluted air than we need. I don’t know about y’all but I like going outside and hearing the birds, and not hearing a 24 hour a day constant hum from a data center.

Currently, SC has both electronic capability and paper ballots to ensure election integrity. Photos IDs with corresponding addresses and signatures are required to vote. Early voting has been implemented for all citizens. Curb-side voting is available for those in need.
Mail-in ballots are opened publicly and require appropriate signatures. Our active military and shut-in come to mind for using mail-in ballots.
I believe SC has been taking appropriation action to ensure accessible voting.
SC must continue conversations with stakeholders about the most effective approach to health care. Certain public health care coverage is available, but the review process is taking too long.
Statistics indicate that more people are using the web for telehealth and purchasing pharmaceuticals. We must be vigilant to ensure safety for citizens using these platforms.
SC continues to build out flexible community-based care delivery. Health care is critical from birth; yet, pregnant mothers need health care too. Child and maternal mortality rates are staggering.
Additionally, pharmaceutical companies aid in reducing certain costs. 340B rebate legislation can ensure citizens benefit.
Data Centers require water for cooling the units and draw substantial electrical power - competing with households and businesses. There is a need to ensure water and power infrastructure can manage a date center.
Each county council will make the final decision on data centers. Further, councils should receive input from community share holders and its citizens.
