I have worked in the Clerk’s Office for more than 16 years, with nearly the last 8 serving as the Elections Administrator. Since elections are a major responsibility of the County Clerk, I am confident in my experience and qualifications in this area. I am also actively learning the other functions of the Clerk’s Office, including court records, child support, and additional services we provide.
Over the years, I have completed hundreds of hours of training related to the Clerk position and participated in many leadership development programs. These qualifications have prepared me to step in and effectively handle the Clerk’s responsibilities from day one.
With Hamilton County being a growing county, as well as adding 2 new Courts in 2027, the Clerk's Office will have to adjust to this growth. Using organization and efficiency, I am ready to take on this challenge.
I would like to see our County begin using Vote Centers for voting, which would allow any registered voters in Hamilton County to be able to go to any open voting location in the county on Election Day.
We do our best in Elections to follow what is legislated for us to do. Our Elections Office is organized, friendly, and efficient. As stated earlier, I would like to see us implement Vote Centers in Hamilton County.
We have confidentiality laws in relation to many of the roles of the Clerk's Office. We will continue as always in the Clerk's Office to follow those laws.

I am qualified to serve as Clerk of the Circuit Court because my professional background represents the responsibilities of the office, including financial oversight and operations management. Having successfully managed city, state, and federal grant allocations, I possess a proven track record of fiscal stewardship and governmental compliance. Furthermore, my experience as a nonprofit Program Coordinator, where I oversaw sensitive intake operations, HIPAA compliance, and complex Medicaid, insurance, and state contract billing systems, proves I have the precise administrative framework required to modernize and secure the court’s vast record-keeping infrastructure. Combining this highly regulated regulatory expertise with a strong foundation in personnel leadership and customer service from my time in retail and restaurant management, I am fully equipped to protect public funds, lead our deputy clerks, and deliver transparent, efficient service to the citizens of Hamilton County.
The Hamilton County Clerk’s office faces critical structural challenges over the next four years as it responds to rapid population growth. First, unprecedented growth creates an influx of court filings, public records, and voter registrations. Second, the county must adapt to a Vote Center model, which streamlines voting by allowing residents to cast a ballot at any designated county location rather than a single precinct. Managing this transition requires complex logistical coordination, secure data infrastructure, and strategic site selection to ensure voting locations are accessible to all residents and that vote centers remain safe.
The top priority of this administration is transitioning Hamilton County to a secure Vote Center model while protecting election integrity. This shift allows residents to vote at any designated county location rather than a single assigned precinct. This operational transition utilizes strategic management and resource coordination to ensure fiscal transparency and maintain secure systems, including electronic poll books and voter data protection. Centralized locations will be coordinated with local partners to ensure accessibility and safety at all designated voting sites.
As Clerk of the Circuit Court, my role in the election process is to serve as the Secretary of the County Election Board, overseeing the fair and accurate administration of all local elections. When responding to proposed changes, my approach is non-partisan and ministerial: I focus on executing state laws and structural upgrades—such as the Vote Center model—with strict regulatory compliance and rigorous fiscal transparency. The primary change I want to bring to Hamilton County is transforming the Clerk’s office into a welcoming, community-connected hub. Rather than remaining an isolated bureaucratic entity, I want our office to actively participate in community events and proactively interact with residents. By establishing an accessible culture that meets people where they are, we can simplify the election process, strengthen public trust, and ensure every resident feels valued and heard when engaging with our county’s judicial and election systems.
Maintaining absolute confidentiality and security is a foundational requirement for the Clerk of the Circuit Court. I will ensure the office strictly adheres to all state, county, and applicable legal rules, policies, and procedures governing public records and voter data. My commitment to this standard is backed by practical, high-stakes experience. Having been held to strict HIPAA standards and strict confidentiality protocols in child welfare, I have a proven track record of managing deeply sensitive, protected data. I understand the critical importance of secure intake systems, restricted data access, and meticulous record handling. In the Clerk's office, I will implement rigorous staff training on evolving compliance laws, conduct regular security audits of digital and physical files, and ensure that personal information remains completely safe. Voters and residents can trust that their private records will be protected with the highest level of professional integrity.
