Together, the House of Representatives and the Senate constitute the Connecticut General Assembly (CGA). The General Assembly enacts legislation dealing with state appropriations and finance, public welfare, the environment, public works, housing, education, civil and criminal laws, and other matters. The Senate tries all impeachments of executive and judicial branch officials. In Connecticut, members of the state’s legislative body, the General Assembly, must be at least eighteen years old and reside in the district they represent. Senate and House members serve two-year terms. Candidates were asked to respond to questions developed by local Leagues of Women Voters (LWV). Candidates enter their replies directly into Vote411, and replies are not edited by the LWV.This is the link to the CGA website: https://www.cga.ct.gov/This is the link to Sample Ballots for each Town found on the Secretary of State website: https://portal.ct.gov/sots/election-services/town-ballots/2026-november-town-election-ballots

I am the best candidate for State Representative because I have spent my career delivering results for the people and communities I serve. For more than a decade, I have advocated for children with IEPs and 504 plans, helping families navigate complex systems and access critical services. Professionally, I lead community initiatives that bring together healthcare providers, educations, nonprofits, businesses and government agencies to address challenges and create opportunities. I understand how to build consensus, secure resources, and turn ideas into action. I will bring the same collaborative, results-driven approach to Hartford, to ensure the 80th District receives its fair share of state resources.

As State Representative, I will fight for greater transparency and accountability in energy costs, support affordable housing and healthcare solutions, properly fund public education, including special education, and work to bring more state resources by to the 80th to help reduce the pressure on local property taxpayers. My focus is simple: Making Connecticut a place where people can afford to stay, seniors can age with dignity, and every child has the opportunity to succeed.

I am open to Ranked Choice Voting as a way to encourage greater voter participation and ensure elected officials have broad support from their constituents. However, I believe any transition should be carefully studied and accompanied by robust voter education to ensure the process is accessible and understood by all voters. While I support efforts to strengthen our democracy, my immediate priorities remain addressing affordability, supporting public education, expanding healthcare access, and e
