Candidate- Why I am running for reelection after working for the last four years to manage growth and help residents understand the process of how government works. Transparency continues to be a priority, as is being a public servant.
Candidate- What I stand for fairness and common sense, justice and reason. We have complex issues that need to be addressed, as well as building our infrastructure to ensure that growth doesn’t cause more problems.
Candidate- How Transparency: I will continue to share critical issues so that the public knows what is happening and why. This means explaining the process and the progress, all while listening to concerns and questions. When individuals need help, it’s important to give them the aid they need while maintaining dignity at every turn. Being a public servant means to listen and to take action when needed. It means being willing to talk about complex issues and speak on topics that matter to the community. It means researching issues so that I make informed decisions, not just following partisan political talking points. I serve the people, not the parties.
We review and discuss all department budgets and I will work to listen to all concerns regarding budget issues. When we find insufficient budgeting for ADA issues and other communities that aren’t well represented, I will seek to ensure they are funded properly and consistently.
Since we know that the interstate will be widened in 2034 from exit 1 to exit 11, we need to ensure that Nashville Highway is ready to handle the overflow during construction. Also, a huge priority is to finish the highway 374 loop from Dover road to hwy 149.
