Biographical Information

What unique experience/qualifications would you bring to this office if elected?

What challenges for the Clerk’s Office do you anticipate in the next few years, and what might be done to address these?

If elected, what improvements to the Clerk’s Office would you hope to accomplish?

I earned my associate degree from Roane State Community College and my bachelor’s degree in Business, with a focus on communication, from East Tennessee State University.

For the past decade, I’ve helped manage a bonding business with $10–12 million in active bonds. That kind of responsibility demands attention to detail, accountability, and doing things the right way. I’ve worked with legal documents, managed finances, and served people during some of the most stressful moments of their lives.

That experience has prepared me to lead a clerk’s office that is efficient, accurate, and centered on treating every person with respect.

In Roane County, people expect hard work, honesty, and fairness. That’s how I’ve done business at Hill Bonding—and that’s exactly how I’ll serve as your next County Clerk.
Roane County is growing at a rapid pace. More families are moving here every day, and that growth is a great thing. However, it also means more people will be relying on the Clerk’s Office for essential services.

Whether it’s registering a vehicle, handling title work, or navigating important documents, people need an office that’s accessible, efficient, and easy to work with, especially if they’re new to our community.

Accessibility isn’t just about location or hours. It’s about clear communication, shorter wait times, and making sure every person who walks through the door knows they’re being helped, not handled.

As your next County Clerk, I’ll make sure our office keeps up with that growth by focusing on service, efficiency, and treating every resident, new or lifelong, with the respect they deserve.
Not everyone can make it to the courthouse during regular business hours. I understand that, because I’ve worked with people in real-life situations for years. That’s why I want to bring in self-service kiosks to make transactions quicker and easier, and explore satellite locations to better serve folks across the county. We should meet people where they are, not the other way around.

As your County Clerk, it’s our responsibility to make your life easier. You deserve convenient, reliable service so you can spend less time waiting and more time with your family.

I’m ready to bring practical solutions and better access to Roane County.
