I have a lifelong record of serving my community in politics, non-profit boards, and civic organizations.
Consolidation has a limited place. I trust local citizens to know when it is time to merge and when not to. Protect the federal dollars we do receive to ensure our neediest children are served. Technology could be examined as a way to access curriculums to our most rural and difficult to staff schools.
We need to go a bit further in reigning in some environmental barriers that prevent us from building enough housing to meets the needs of Vermonters. Even many environmentalists recognize that we can still keep Vermont green and pristine. The current administration has worked successful with environmental experts to achieve a new balance. We need to continue these efforts.
