Candidate For Office
Orange County Sheriff
I began my career with Orange County Sheriff’s Department in 2024 as a Civil Process Server, later attending the Vermont Police Academy in March of 2025 to become a Sheriff’s Deputy. BUT before all this, I acquired my Law Enforcement Degree and POST (Peace Officer Safety and Training) Certification from Rasmussen University in Minnesota back in 2012. Going back even further to 2009, I Supervised 60+ Officers for Interstate Security Services, an Armed Security Company in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, Minneapolis/St. Paul. Before that I was Asset Protect for Target in Three (3) Store locations simultaneously within the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
During my time with Orange County Sheriff's Department I have implemented new Starlink connections for our Patrol Vehicles, Modern Bodycams, and created both a Facebook Page and Official Website for the Department. These improvements has increased our ability to communicate with, or without, cell/radio service and open a direct line of communication between the Department and the Community we serve!
I currently work with Safeline Orange County Task Force and attend them bi-monthly meetings. Each meeting has a special guest speaker to discuss various topics such as; Mental Health Crisis, Domestic Abuse, Sexual Assault Victims, and more.
The goal of this Task Force is to great a network within the communities and first responders to not only become better trained for these types of calls, but also to have a plan in place before the situation requires it. A blend of EMS, Fire, Mental Health Services, Shelters, and more come together to create a flow chart and plan to aid community members in their time of need.
